Jac in Infrared

I took Jac down to DC and gave her a tour of my hometown this past week. We snuck into my old backyard, which is basically just huge woods and creek. Leaves were falling and the warm light was beaming through the branches. It was so beautiful to make photos in a place where the younger me would spend hours dreaming up a storm. It hasn’t changed one bit, and I hope it never will.

I’ve been waiting to take the perfect portrait of my best friend Thomas Rennie [he's an incredibly talented designer, check him out!] for a few months now. The time had finally arrived this past weekend, everything fell together perfectly and we created the image I had envisioned, inspired by Serge Gainsbourg.

Beautiful Badass

My beautiful friend Ashley asked me if I would be interested in taking some nude photographs of her and her timing couldn’t have been any more perfect! I’ve wanted to do a nude shoot for the longest time, but had yet to find the perfect model. Ashley was just that! I love the contrast between her natural beauty and all of her body modifications. What a beautiful badass! It was such a pleasure to have her as a model, she was so open to trying new things and pushing the limit with my crazy ideas…I’ll save those photos for another post ;]

Jasmin and I have been planning on working together for what seems like ages now! We finally coordinated a shoot and it was phenomenal!! Shooting Jasmin was such an honor, she’s such a beautiful, strong, and focused woman…and of course, a huge pleasure to work with! The vibes were on point and I can already tell that we’ll be working together again in the future! The best part about the shoot was that she styled herself completely with the help of her best friend, Christian (who was also such a joy to have around.) I really love when creative minds can come together and produce magic, it’s truly one of the best feelings in the world! I hope you all enjoy these shots as much as we enjoyed creating them!
