on my way back from the grocery store to stock up on water and food, i decided to stop by the empty field near my house and take some photos. i love this weather, it’s calming. everyone stays in their houses to keep dry and safe leaving the roads completely empty. weather amazes me sometimes, it’s one of the strongest forces in this world and we have no control over it. it’s almost as if it’s here to clean, to sweep up all the bad and be on it’s way..that’s how i like to think about it. yesterday was a successful day of doing absolutely nothing, and i spent a good amount of time laying in bed just listening to the rain and wind.
as soon as i stepped out of my car to take that photo, the rain paused for a second and there was just complete silence, as if mother nature was giving me permission to take a few shots before she let all hell break loose. it was beautiful.
