I know I haven’t updated in a while, but I’ve still been writing a lot which is more important, right? I write in my moleskine every single day now, I’m addicted to it. The other day I was walking my dog when I realized I could easily walk to this really amazing spot near my house. It takes me about 4 minutes from my backyard and it’s beautiful there. Between my house and the highway, you’d expect it to be an incredibly noisy and obvious little spot, but it’s so quiet and secluded. I’m pretty sure it’s an abandoned farm. Writing there is so relaxing, being able to unwind my thoughts into words that only I will ever read is absolutely amazing. I write about everything and anything: my days, my thoughts, my worries, my fears, my dreams, my questions. Everything. A couple nights ago, I woke up from a crazy dream and immediately started writing about it, I was so amazed that I even remembered it and cared enough to write it down instead of falling right back asleep. Please pardon all the corny words, but I’m kind of in the middle of unraveling something I never really knew existed in me, and it’s really awesome, haha. So, internet world, if you sometimes don’t hear from me for a while, I’m probably just hanging out in my secret spot, taking stupid pictures of myself and writing in my moleskine! =]

Writing eases the soul! And that’s a pretty dope spot to write at too. My only question is … who took the pics? Lol.

i am just in awe of the beautiful pictures you take… and of yourself.
they are so great.
how do you do it exactly? self timer obviously but do you have a tripod for it or do you just find things while you are to position the camera on, i am so curious.
i only ask because i want to start documenting some of my days and i wish my pictures would be some what close to yours.

Sharon-I’m totally going to soak this all up before I leave florida. Although there aren’t a lot of “secret spots” in the city, there’s ROOFTOPS! I’ll settle, those are the best.
Sulaiman/Britt-I take them! Self timer + tripod= awesome! You should try it sometime, maybe even get a remote so you don’t have to constantly move back and fourth. It’s fun
